John
Jay Pavano has practiced in the field of accident and personal
injury law since his admission to the Connecticut bar in 1994. Having
his family roots in Hartford County, he concentrated his first
eight years of practice serving the Greater Hartford area. His proven
commitment to his clients and growing experience as a trial lawyer
made him a perfect fit for Faulkner and Boyce and he was therefore
welcomed into the firm in 2002 and attained partner status in 2004.
Pavano
brought with him a substantial and loyal Hartford County clientele
prompting the New London based firm to open its second office in
Plainville. Pavano is available to meet with clients at either
office. In addition to all forms of personal injury matters, Pavano
handles worker's compensation cases and DWI/DUI defense matters in
criminal court and at DMV administrative hearings.
Pavano
received his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut
and his juris doctorate
from Quinnipiac University. He is an active
member of the
Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut Trial Lawyer’s Association,
and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Additionally, Pavano continues
to serve as General Counsel to the Connecticut State Police Academy Alumni
Association to which post he was appointed in 1998.
Pavano
lives with his wife and daughter in Glastonbury.
